A high vacuum hot press furnace is a device used for hot pressing materials under high temperature and high vacuum conditions. It is mainly used for processes such as sintering, heat treatment, and surface modification of materials. Its specific functions and application scenarios are as follows:

1. Main function

Removing volatile impurities: Hot pressing sintering in a vacuum environment is beneficial for removing volatile impurities and gases from the material, preventing the formation of surface oxide layers, and achieving high-density sintering.

Promoting densification: At high temperatures, the solid particles of the raw material are bonded to each other, the grains grow, and the voids and grain boundaries gradually decrease. By applying pressure to accelerate the transfer of matter, the total volume shrinks, the density increases, and ultimately becomes a dense polycrystalline sintered body with a certain microstructure.

Improving material properties: By metallurgical bonding between particles, the strength, hardness, wear resistance, and other properties of the material are enhanced.

2. Application scenarios

New material research and development: suitable for high-temperature thermoforming of new materials such as powder metallurgy and functional ceramics, such as transparent ceramics, industrial ceramics, and vacuum sintering of metals and alloy materials composed of refractory metals, as well as high-temperature sintering of ceramic materials such as silicon carbide and silicon nitride.

Composite material preparation: It can be used for high-temperature sintering and hot pressing of carbon carbon composite materials, ceramic materials, hard alloys, synthetic diamonds, and metal powder materials, as well as diffusion welding of various materials.

Precision parts manufacturing: producing high-precision parts, such as high-precision silicon nitride ceramic bearings.

3. Equipment features

Multi system integration: The high vacuum hot press furnace is mainly composed of a furnace body, a furnace cover, a furnace cover lifting system, a furnace bottom, a heating and insulation and temperature measurement system, a pressurization system, a vacuum system, a water cooling system, a control system, etc. It combines vacuum/atmosphere, hot press molding, and high-temperature sintering together.

High precision control: It has functions such as over temperature alarm, leakage protection, overvoltage protection, etc., ensuring safe and reliable operation. High temperature control accuracy can meet the sintering needs of different materials.

Flexible customization: Various non-standard vacuum hot pressing furnaces can be customized according to user requirements to meet different experimental and production needs.
