What metals can be sintered in metal material sintering furnaces?

06-20-2025       Author: KJ technology

Metal material sintering furnaces can sinter various metals and alloys. The following are some common application materials:

1. High melting point metals: such as tungsten, molybdenum, and their alloys. Due to their high melting points, these metals are prone to oxidation when sintered in a conventional atmosphere. Vacuum sintering furnaces can provide an oxygen free environment to ensure sintering quality.

2. Refractory metals and special alloys, such as precious metals like rhenium, can be sintered and purified using vacuum sintering furnaces.

3. Common metal powders: including iron, copper, aluminum, nickel, titanium, etc., are heated at high temperatures in sintering furnaces, and the metal powder particles combine to form metal parts with certain strength and toughness.

4. Alloy powder: By mixing different metal powders, various alloy powders can be obtained, such as stainless steel, high-speed steel, etc. The high-temperature heating of the sintering furnace can cause alloying reactions between alloy powder particles, forming alloy materials with good properties.

5. Precious metals such as gold, silver, etc. can be purified and refined at high temperatures in sintering furnaces.
