The common faults and solutions for customized vacuum annealing furnaces are as follows:


1. Vacuum related faults and solutions

vacuum loss

Reasons: Vacuum pump malfunction, aging and leakage of seals, pipeline blockage, furnace or pipeline leakage (such as damaged sealing rings, welding quality issues), self release of annealing materials, etc.

resolvent:

Check the operating status of the vacuum pump and perform maintenance or replacement.

Check the appearance and aging of the seals, and replace them in a timely manner.

Clean up pipeline blockages and keep the pipeline unobstructed.

Use a helium mass spectrometer leak detector to detect gas leakage points in the furnace body and pipelines, and repair them.

Pre treat the annealed material to reduce self deflation.

Vacuum cannot be drawn up or is too low

Reasons: Insufficient vacuum source, abnormal compression pressure, vacuum gauge malfunction, furnace door not tightly closed or sealed film damaged, pipeline or pneumatic valve leakage, etc.

resolvent:

Confirm whether the vacuum gas source and compressed air pressure are normal, and make adjustments or repairs.

Check if the vacuum gauge is in good condition, calibrate or replace it.

Ensure the furnace door is tightly closed, check if the sealing film is damaged, and replace it.

Check whether the pipeline and pneumatic valve are leaking, repair or replace them.


2. Heating system related faults and solutions

Heating element damaged

Reason: Heating element aging, overheating, short circuit, etc.

Solution: Use a thermal imager or infrared thermometer to check if the heating element temperature is uniform. If any damage is found, replace the heating element with a qualified one in a timely manner.

Abnormal temperature

Reason: Improper setting of temperature controller parameters, poor or damaged thermocouple contact, non powered or damaged heating tube, etc.

resolvent:

Check if the temperature controller parameters are normal, calibrate or adjust them.

Check if the thermocouple is in good contact or damaged, and replace it.

Check if the heating tube is powered on and functioning properly, use a test pen and clamp gauge for testing, and replace it if damaged.


3. Mechanical structure related faults and solutions

The door doesn't close tightly

Reason: Loose hinges, deformed buckles, damaged sealing strips at the door entrance, and deformed door panels.

Solution: Check and tighten the hinge, repair or replace the buckle, replace the sealing strip, repair or replace the door panel.

The fan has abnormal noise

Reason: There are foreign objects inside the fan wheel and loose screws fixing the motor.

Solution: Clean the foreign objects inside the fan wheel and tighten the screws that fix the motor.

Pneumatic valve cannot operate

Reason: Electromagnetic valve malfunction, insufficient compressed air pressure, damage to the pneumatic valve itself, etc.

Solution: Check if the solenoid valve is working properly, adjust the compressed air pressure, and replace the pneumatic valve.


4. Other faults and solutions

Vacuum cooling system malfunction

Reason: pump temperature increase, pump oil viscosity decrease, wear of various moving parts inside the pump, etc.

Solution: Check the operating status of the vacuum cooling system, repair or replace components.

Power outage or cooling water pump malfunction

Emergency response methods:

Block the valve of the hydrogen nitrogen mixed gas pipeline, open the valve of the nitrogen gas pipeline, and discharge the hydrogen gas from the annealing furnace.

Switch the cooling water to emergency tap water supply.

Report the equipment for maintenance.
