Customized heat treatment vacuum furnace temperature cannot rise

06-16-2025       Author: KJ technology

The temperature of the customized heat treatment vacuum furnace cannot rise, which may be caused by various problems such as heating elements, power supply system, furnace wall insulation, temperature control system, thermocouple, etc. The following are specific analysis and solutions:

Heating element issue

Reason: Aging, damage, or poor contact of the heating element can affect the heating effect and prevent the temperature from rising.

Solution: Check the integrity and connection of the heating element. For graphite heating elements, check for any fractures, wear, or surface oxidation. If damage is found to the heating element, it should be replaced in a timely manner; If the connection is loose, tighten the connecting screws again to ensure a good electrical connection.

Power supply system issues

Reason: Unstable power supply voltage, phase loss, or excessive voltage fluctuations may cause heating elements to malfunction, thereby affecting temperature rise.

Solution: Repair the power supply line or adjust it using devices such as voltage regulators to ensure stable power supply voltage.

Thermal insulation problem of furnace wall

Reason: The insulation performance of the furnace wall decreases, and heat is easily lost, making it difficult to raise the temperature inside the furnace.

Solution: Regularly conduct a comprehensive inspection of the interior of the furnace to check for any damage or detachment of the insulation material on the furnace wall. If the insulation material is damaged, it should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner to ensure the insulation performance of the furnace body.

Temperature control system issue

Reason: The temperature controller has malfunctioned and cannot accurately control the heating process, which may result in the temperature not reaching the set value.

Solution: Check if the temperature controller parameters are normal, and refer to other temperature controllers in normal use to calibrate all parameters. If the thermostat fails, it needs to be recalibrated or replaced.

Thermocouple issue

Reason: Damage or large errors in thermocouples can lead to inaccurate temperature measurement, affecting the temperature control system's ability to regulate temperature.

Solution: Check if the thermocouples are damaged. You can swap them with thermocouples on a normal thermostat and connect them to the thermostat. Observe the temperature display. If the thermocouple is indeed damaged, it must be replaced and the installation position of the new thermocouple must be ensured to be correct.
