The usage process of a nitrogen atmosphere vacuum muffle furnace is as follows:
Sample placement:
Open the furnace door and place the sample into the constant temperature zone inside the furnace, ensuring that the sample is placed smoothly and evenly.
Close the furnace door and ensure good sealing to prevent air leakage.
Vacuum pumping:
Close the vacuum valve, turn on the mechanical pump, and start vacuuming.
Observe the vacuum gauge and prepare for the next step when the vacuum level reaches below 7.6Pa.
Heating preparation:
Turn on the diffusion pump (if applicable) and push in the switch of the vacuum unit.
Simultaneously turn on the cooling water to ensure that the diffusion pump and furnace body are fully cooled.
Heating process:
When the vacuum degree reaches the required level, start heating. Set the target temperature, heating rate, and holding time according to experimental or process requirements.
Closely observe the temperature display and equipment operation status to ensure no abnormalities.
Cooling and Sampling:
After heating, let the furnace naturally cool to below 100 ℃.
Turn off the diffusion pump, pull out the vacuum unit switch, and wait for the diffusion pump to cool down.
Turn off the cooling water, turn off the mechanical pump, and then release air to restore the pressure inside the furnace to atmospheric pressure.
Open the furnace door and use a suitable tool to remove the sample.
Subsequent processing:
Close the valve, and if it needs to be used again, use a mechanical pump to evacuate and turn off the mechanical pump to keep the furnace dry.
Clean the residue inside the furnace and keep it clean.
Turn off the power and keep records of equipment usage and maintenance.
